Remember those refrigerator pickles I made last July?
Neither did I, until I went rummaging for leftovers to pack for lunch and found a jar of them lurking in the back of the fridge.
They're really good. They crunch nicely and they've a wonderful nose-wrinkling sharpness now. I stand by my decision to cut the sugar in the original recipe. There's just enough sweetness to balance the nose-wrinkle, and any more would be too much.
