Raking, weeding, mowing, and suchlike are necessary but not very exciting activities.
Neither are they especially photogenic.
So I will spare you an in-depth discussion with accompanying photographic documentation of my activities this weekend, and point you instead to a cause destined to become very dear to my heart:
Show someone you care. Give them a book that will scare the pants off them this Halloween.
(You may choose to understand 'pants' in either the American or British sense of the word. Or both senses at once, if you like).
