hands making and unmaking promises

I keep telling myself that I'll sit down and write, or finish writing, a bunch of posts that have been in existing in the almost-but-not-quite-written limbo of my saved drafts folder.  I just haven't done it.

Some of you may remember that about this time last year I was playing a small but crucial role in Dr Goodhair's Crazy Deadlines Show.  This year, I am playing a similar role in a similar production, which sort of sucks up my 'writing for the blog' energies.  I am still doing and making, just more quietly.

What I am doing and making?

Things like this:

Sophia Shrug, collar

and this:

Leaf green

and also this:

Peach Hand Pies

To say nothing of going places like this:

Bluefaced Leicesters

(that'd be one of the barns at this year's Sheep and Wool Festival, about which more later. Eventually).

  1. Hey, I was at the Sheep and Wool Festival too, with the knitter and needle-felter in my life. Made for a really nice day out.

  2. Hey Jeff, good to hear from you!

Yeah, the Festival usually does make for a nice day out, even for people who aren't yarn fanatics. It didn't hurt that the weather was really nice that weekend, too.
