to be lost is a kind of leaving

There has been a loss in our little family.

Maeve, our beautiful girl, slipped away from us early this morning, peacefully and surrounded by family, as they say in the genteel obituaries.



We all feel very much lost without her.

In place of a dose of funk, instead here is a snippet called Requiem for a Princess, based (apparently) on an excerpt from Mozart's Requiem Mass in D minor, and used in the anime Sailor Moon.  I am not a great fan of anime, but the music is lovely and sad.
